What are some of the responsibilities volunteers have on-site at the events?
A volunteer’s main responsibility is to support the event team by assisting with event set up, registration, and various office projects. Volunteers assist by ushering and guiding guests.
What is the time commitment for volunteering at events?
For those volunteering at on-site events, the commitment is anywhere from 4 to 8 days depending on the event. Volunteers are required to attend training, orientation, and set-up day (which is the day before the event) and then serve on either an AM or PM shift for the duration of the event. Shifts are typically 6 to 8 hours per day.
